Well you as you shod know overfeeding is bad. You shod feed you betta how much he/she will eat will eat in 5 min. but if your betta is overweight
feed it THREE PELLETS AND NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TREATS UNTIL HE IS NORMALÂ WEIGHT !

I have a very good book on bettas published by animal planet, and it says that you should only feed it one/two pellets/flakes/worms/shrimp once a day to keep him from being overweight it also stresses that you should feed him/her how much she can eat in five minutes, as that usually makes the betta overweight faster. Feed with your head, not your heart.
